The Area Concert Festival is Tuesday, March 3rd
at Gilbert High School (1101 E Elliot Rd., Gilbert, 85234)
Bus transportation is provided.
Please review the Area Concert Festival Schedule.
Concert Band
– is excused from 0-5th Hour (attend Periods 6-7)
– bring a sack lunch, water bottle
– wear uniform to school (bring change of clothes?)
Symphonic Band
– is excused from 6th /7th Hour, (attend Periods 1-5)
– bring uniform to school! (or wear it)
Note: ‘Normal’ Concert Black attire (Men: Long BLACK socks!, black shoes & Black Tie)
Reminders:
– You are responsible for your own equipment, all day.
– Please do not leave your music folder on the bus or the trailer.
Percussion:
– Please create a list of equipment (cymbals, S.D., etc.) and mallets/sticks.
– Coordinate between the other ensembles.
– GHS will only provide: Timpani, B.D., Vibes, Marimba, Xylo., Bells, and Chimes
