President
The President shall be considered as the Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation; shall preside over and chair all meetings of the Executive Board and the General Membership; shall have the powers and duties of management and direction as are usually vested in the office of President and CEO of a Corporation.

The President shall:
» give clear and concise direction.
» foster a communicative environment between Executive Board, Committee Chairs, Parents, Faculty and Administration.
» consult with the Band Director to address the needs of the music program and controls the Booster Club funds to meet the demands of the program in conjunction with laws governing a 501c(3) organization.
» appoint special committees as needed, and shall appoint all Committee Chairs with a majority vote from the Executive Board.
» be an ex-officio member of all committees except the Nomination Committee.
» enforce a strict observance and governance of the Thunderboard and DV Band By-Laws and Policies and Procedures.
» sign checks along with the other approved signers.
» hold keys to the post office box and control the credit card/debit card usage.
» be responsible to review, discuss and act on issues brought before the Executive Committee.
» be the deciding vote when a past President’s vote is not available to break a tie.
» have an equal voice with all other Executive Board members and conduct business meetings in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order.
» set the agenda for all Executive Board and General Membership meetings with input from the rest of the Executive Officers.
» preside over the annual budgets.

Vice President
The Vice President shall assume all duties and authority of the President in his or her absence; shall share with the President the duties of oversight of the activities of the Fundraising and Special Events Committees. He/She shall perform such additional duties as may be designated by the President and/or the Executive Board from time to time.

The Vice President shall:
» give clear and concise direction.
» foster a communicative environment between Executive Board, Committee Chairs, Parents, Faculty and Administration.
» assist the music program in meeting the demands of the program in conjunction with laws governing a 501c(3) organization.
» vote on special committees as needed, and approve Committee Chairs.
» enforce a strict observance and governance of the Thunderboard and DV Band By-Laws and Policies and Procedures.
» sign checks along with the other approved signers.
» assist the review and discuss and act on issues brought before the Executive Committee.
» have an equal voice with all other Executive Board members and conducts business meetings in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order.
» assist in setting the agenda with all other Executive Board members for the Executive Board and General Membership meetings.
» contact the Treasurer and schedule, attend and participate in the financial audit of the books.
» upon resignation or removal of the President, the vice-president shall fill the office of the President until a special election can be held.
» work to maintain the budget and participate in setting the next year’s budget.


Secretary
The Secretary shall keep all the minutes of all meetings and shall attend to all correspondence and publicity. The Secretary shall also update the webmaster with regard to all pertinent information regarding Band activities, including, but not limited to rules, By-Laws, meeting dates, fundraising projects, performance dates, trip information, and any and all other information relevant to members of the Band and their parents or guardians.

The Secretary shall:
» give clear and concise direction.
» foster a communicative environment between Executive Board, Committee Chairs, Parents, Faculty and Administration.
» assist the music program in meeting the demands of the program in conjunction with laws governing a 501c(3) organization.
» vote on special committees as needed, and Committee Chairs.
» enforce a strict observance and governance of the Thunderboard and DV Band By-Laws and Policies and Procedures.
» sign checks along with the other approved signers.
» assist the review and discuss and act on issues brought before the Executive Committee.
» have an equal voice with all other Executive Board members and conduct business meetings in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order.
» assist in setting the agenda with all other Executive Board members for the Executive Board and General Membership meetings.
» manage all record keeping of association.
» work to maintain the budget and participate in setting the next year’s budget.

Treasurer
The Treasurer shall be considered as the Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation; shall preside over the budget and management and direction as are usually vested in the office of CFO of a Corporation. The Treasurer shall receive and deposit all funds of the organization. The Treasurer shall keep a record of all disbursements on a financial ledger for the Executive Board. All membership dues (reports delinquencies to the Executive Board and Director), fundraising money, donations, etc. collected will be turned over to the Treasurer for deposit. All bills will be turned over to the Treasurer for payment. Reports monthly to the Thunderboard as defined in the By-laws.

The Treasurer shall:
» give clear and concise direction.
» foster a communicative environment between Executive Board, Committee Chairs, Parents, Faculty and Administration.
» assist the music program in meeting the demands of the program in conjunction with laws governing a 501c(3) organization.
» vote on special committees as needed, and Committee Chairs.
» enforce a strict observance and governance of the Thunderboard and DV Band By-Laws and Policies and Procedures.
» sign checks along with the other approved signers.
» assist the review and discuss and act on issues brought before the Executive Committee
» have an equal voice with all other Executive Board members and conducts business meetings in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order.
» assist in setting the agenda with all other Executive Board members for the Executive Board and General Membership meetings.
» report monthly financial statements to Thunderboard and Webmaster for posting to Membership.
» manage income, expenses accounts receivable and payable and identify immediate deviation from budget to the Executive Committee and participate in setting the next year’s budget.
» cooperate with the Vice President during the auditing process.
