Jazz Band

Please note the following Jazz Program expectations are non-negotiable.

• Individual responsibility is the most important element in your Big Band's success.
  Practice well and plan ahead!!! Rehearsal and performance dates will always be on the official ThunderBand.org Calendar.
• The Jazz Participation fee MUST be submitted to Mr. Thye for you to be eligible to perform at ANY concerts.

• The signed cover page must be submitted at your audition.
• The rehearsal policy requires 100% attendance at ALL rehearsals (this includes all weekly sectionals).
  ANY excused absences must be approved in advance by Mr. Krill.
• Students must practice their music daily and arrive to all rehearsals and sectionals adequately prepared to the director's expectations.
• Failure to prepare your part adequately or unexcused absences could result in removal from a performance or expulsion from the Jazz Band Program.
• All Guest Artist concerts are a required part of our performance schedule. Attendance is mandatory.
