Congratulations DV Band !
Thank you to all students who participated in the Regional Honor Band Auditions.
There were 25 high schools that participated in our Region.
Of those 25 schools, over 300 band students completed the audition.
155 total band students were selected (by video audition) for the Region Honor Band.
And of those… 53 were from Desert Vista HS Band! (The most from any one school.)

09 juniors
13 sophomores
11 freshmen !
Auditions took place all online, through a web-based audition platform. Students had to submit 8 different required videos of musical selections, including scales and sight-reading.

I am beyond proud of these students. They have overcome a lot this year to still be able to participate in what they love. The concert halls are still closed for musicians worldwide (even though the stadiums and arenas are open), but I am proud to tell you that musical excellence is alive and well at DV!
